I have worked in Early Years and education for over 16 years starting as a tutor and volunteering in children’s centres whilst completing my A-levels and degree before gaining my PGCE and working as a qualified teacher in Children’s Centres, Nursery Schools, Primary Schools (Reception), council settings and finally at Baker Street.
I opened Baker Street Yate in September 2022 whilst pregnant with my Son, second to having him this is the most terrifying but most rewarding thing I have done.
My passion and love for Early Years has grown and evolved over the past 16 years, but it ultimately all comes back to children’s experiences and what they deserve. I love learning from the children and their families, exploring cultures and their individual values as well as learning from our staff and all the most current knowledge they have to share.
When I am at home, I am happiest when I am with my son, my dog and our incredible extended family. We simply love being together, taking on new adventures and eating good food.
